The fore deck plates are hoisted aboard .....
The fwd half of the centerline seam was left UN-tacked in order to allow the compound curve of the plates to find it's own shape.
Once again the fellows find an innovative way to get the job done.... Here they are using synch straps to pull the perimeter of the deck plates down to meet the hull.
The deck plates are slightly oversized to ensure fit. The excess material will be cut off with a cutting disc on an angle grinder after tacking.

Next the cabin sides and cabin top are placed.
Once the cabin aft BHD is in place and the cabin sides are on we can go back and finish off the cockpit....
