The upper hull plates are in and tacked, the stringers are tacked in place, and the deck beams are placed.
The sweet lines of the Duddley Dix design are evident in this shot. Pete is going to have a boat that he can be very proud of!
Here the conic bow plate is placed in order to determine how the forming shop will be instructed to shape the cone into the plate.
Note how these parts fit..... This level of perfection is simply not possible using traditional methods.
