67 Foot North Sea Trawler (Pilot House) by Ed Monk
This Ed Monk designed 67 foot North Sea Trawler pilot house was modeled for CNC plate development and cutting for a Seattle customer. We worked from 2d paper drawings to create this dimensionally accurate 3D Computer Model. After the customer is happy with the fit and form , we "peel" the parts off the model and lay them out as templates for a CNC Plasma Cutter to cut from aluminum plate. This way the customer gets to see his boat take shape, and make changes, before any materials are cut.

The 70 Foot Trawler Yacht Northern Mist
Designed by Rick Welin here at Trident Welding / Metalboatkits, this aluminum superstructure is going onto an existing steel hull . By recycling a perfectly good used hull and employing us to design a new look this customer saved many 100's of thousands over the cost of a scratch built custom yacht.
