After the boat has been welded out following the included Welding Schedule, the planing strakes are placed on the bottom of the hull.
Another view of the strakes. The strakes are made from Angle Bar (see materials list) .
Taper the fwd few feet to fair into the bottom plate.
The Towing Eye fabricated from scrap 1/2" material.
